Hey. I’m not much of a gamer, but would like to find a good one that I can play for free. I would like to be able to communicate with others, but don’t want something that I’ll be required to be hooked on for months. Thanks so much and sorry for all the perimeters.

Runescape is an MMORPG that I used to play. It’s pretty fun but only free if you play non-members. Members is $5 per month.
Guild wars is another MMORPG. It’s similar to WoW in some ways, but you don’t have to pay $15 per month. The game costs money at first, but it’s free to play online for however long you want.
Overall, I’d suggest Runescape. Play it for a little bit for free, and see if you like it. If not, look for something else. If you have questions about Runescape you can send me a yahoo email since I’m pretty familiar with the game.
What are some good RPG/MMORPG games for Linux/Ubuntu?
I have ubuntu NOT windows and i don’t have a new version of WINE so i was wondering if there was any online rpg games that work on ubuntu that are easy to install. I like fantasy and anime.
i can use terminal to install something if need be, but i prefer to just have an easy install and fun play

Eternal lands is awesome….If using ubuntu u can install wine and play games…In ubuntu not much games are there so you try playing games like maple story and meat boy… its just 300 mb

I need to find a new game…Cause Iam totally BORED! EXTREMLY And need some entertainment but I dont wana play the old ones like club penguin,Runescape,mech quest (all the other quest games also)…..Those game are old and I wana play a new one with good graphics,have quest and a long adventure….Someone Please help me find a new game to PLAY ON THE BROWSER (NOT DOWNLOAD)! Adventure Quest Worlds was pretty fun for a while. Made by the same people who made mech quest. Arcanists on FunOrb.com was REALLY fun for a LONG time, made by Jagex, creators of Runescape, but nothing like Runescape. Screenshots of both in sources.

Blizzard “announces” new online role-playing games
There was a little bit of buzz that World of Warcraft creator Blizzard might finally announce its newest online role playing game at its Blizzcon convention in Anaheim, Calif. this year. Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard, took the stage at the closing ceremony of Blizzcon 2010 to finally put the rumors to bed.
Blizzard didn’t disappoint, “announcing” a number of new games at the closing ceremony of Blizzcon 2010 just before Tenacious D took the stage. Whether fans were pleased with the announcements is a completely different story altogether.
