Hi I am looking for an online RPG that is set in the time periods of the early to mid 1800′s preferably New York City. Something similar to the setting of Gangs of New York would be good. Either text based or other anything similar that I may be interested in is appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

mmmm. idk if there is one. but if you can keep yer panties on for a little while until APB’s release date, that’ll be your best shot. its not in the 1800′s though, its modern day nyc and the city’s goes into a criminals paradise, and the guv’nor (er… mayor, who the fuck cares really) decides to let the people do what the will to take down the vigilantes LEAGLY( you can go solo or be in a gang)!! you should really watch a trailer or something from e3. its pretty bad ass.

I was just wondering if there were any games like tales of pirates because i want to try a new game.

You can literally find any game you could possibly want to play on that site, they’ve got everything imaginable.

I like playing all kinds of games, even the browser based ones. Theres one that I’ve hear of ,Fantasy online (google it) and It seems cool. I’ve made an account. Now when I click login it takes forever, and my laptop isnt slow it browses the web really fast. Also near the bottom (on firefox) you know how it says the status of the page loading? It says done even though I’m still at the login page. So is Fantasy Online dead? Or I can’t just play? Please help.

Since it does not require a download client etc.. it probly does not offer support maybe give it some time it might be having some downtime but if all else fails Try this Game Runescape (you can google it)Its kiddy and is mid evil based but i think you should give it a shot if It continues to not work.

final fantasy XIV comes out this year. you should look into that

These are the best Role playing games I have ever played. I have not played every RPG in the world but I have played a large number of them. I do not enjoy every RPG I touch. I am not a huge fan of Zelda nor am I a fan of Fallout 3. So, if you are wondering why they are not on there, that’s why.

I have played every Final Fantasy outside of XI and I did not include MMORPG.
